Armoured Infantry Companies

There is a real lack of detail on the personnel and equipment of a typical Rifle Company deployed in the mechanised role during World War Two.  Most examinations seem to be undertaken by petrol-heads who are fascinated with the vehicles on display, but less concerned with the resources of flesh and blood required to maintain them.

Notes

British - This is a combination of War Establishment table II/231/3 of 19th January 1944, cross referenced against my own version penned by a serving officer.  Personal weapons are totalled for the Platoons and Company, but not attributed to individuals.

American - Official US Army T/O 7-27 for an Armored Rifle Company dated 15th September 1943, plus subsequent changes of 1944.

Russian - a provisional interpretation from the figures given in the Red Army Handbook.  No indication is given re transport, so I have not included any.  Any corrections or observations welcomed.

German - Copies of original KStN 1114(f.G.) of 1st April 1944 and 1114c (gp) (f.G.) of 1st July 1944 for the Motorised and Armoured Panzer Grenadier Companies respectively.
