Notes

Air Landing - ironically, this is perhaps the most detailed of any British WE for the mid-war period, even specifying small arms issue in most cases.  However, the Air Landing Battalions constantly deviated from their paper ideals to meet operational requirements.  1st Airborne seem to have deleted both the 3 inch mortar and Bren detachments by Arnhem for example, but 6th Airborne probably still had Company level mortars during Normandy.  It's an interesting snapshot anyway.  Taken from I/239/2 dated 12th March 1943.

Glider - no doubt the US formations were as subject to amendment as the British, but there seems less room for manoeuvre with such a stripped back unit.  Taken from T/O 7-57 dated September 5th 1942, plus extensive changes of February 24th 1944.

Commando - the one entry not based on an official table, but probably not that much of an issue given the necessities of Commando operations.  This format is ascribed to a Royal Marine Troop in Normandy, and at sixty all ranks is slightly smaller than the usual sixty five man unit quoted (plus a RAMC medic).  The Army Commando Troop may have looked slightly different.

Ranger - as with the Commandos, no doubt subject to change.  One point of interest, the Rangers who assaulted Pointe du Hoc could not haul their M1919A4s up the cliff face and so substituted BARs instead.  Taken from T/O 7-87 dated February 29th 1944.
