Points of note

The above 'E' Series organisation was introduced from April 1943.  Major changes included the loss of the fourth Company from the Light Tank Battalion, while its Scout Company moved from White Scout cars to Jeeps. Divisional Artillery was increased with the arrival of a second 105-mm Howitzer Battalion.  The 37-mm antitank gun now officially replaced the previously proposed, but not issued, 20-mm dual purpose antiaircraft and antitank guns.
