Points of note

The above was reckoned by the Allies to be the normal formation they could expect to face in regions such as Burma.  None of its artillery was over 75-mm calibre, and its transport assets were less than impressive, however in jungle or mountainous terrain neither of these points was too much of a detriment.  The Transport Regiment organisation especially was said to vary considerably between formations.
